Target Names Matt Zabel Vice President of Government Affairs
MINNEAPOLIS, Jul 23, 2010 (BUSINESS WIRE) --
Target Corporation (NYSE:TGT) today announced that Matt Zabel will join Target as Vice President, Government Affairs, effective August 23. He will be based in Washington, D.C. and will oversee teams in both Minneapolis and D.C.
Matt Zabel, 42, joins Target from U.S. Senator John Thune's office where he has served as Chief of Staff since 2004. Prior to his current role, Mr. Zabel held various positions with the U.S. Senate, the U.S. Department of Justice and was an adjunct professor of law at George Mason University.
Matt received his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of South Dakota, his Master of Science in International Relations from the University of Bristol, England, and his Doctor of Jurisprudence from Northwestern University School of Law.
