Target Announces Partnership with Designer Amy Coe; Exclusive Baby Bedding and Accessories to Debut in Stores Nationwide
MINNEAPOLIS, Dec. 4 /PRNewswire/ -- Target Stores today announced a new partnership with renowned children's bedding and accessories designer Amy Coe to offer an exclusive line of baby bedding, blankets, and nursery home accents beginning January 2003 at all Target stores nationwide.
The limited edition line of merchandise, named amy coe, will brighten babies' worlds with an introductory collection called "le cirque des enfants," based on a circus-themed fabric reminiscent of festive, vintage, French textiles, available in an array of pastel colors. The playful, whimsical print depicts acrobatic elephants, clowns, bouncing balls and children.
The mix-and-match collection will offer colorful bumper pads, sheets and duvets in complementary, circus-themed print, floral, plaid, dot and diamond prints. Home accessories for the collection will include lamps with fabric shades, wallpaper borders, chenille blankets, diaper bags and a cuddly, stuffed elephant toy. Prices range from $3.99 to $39.99.
Using her custom textile designs, Target will produce the amy coe collection under the personal direction of Amy Coe and will oversee all manufacturing of the products.
"Good design should be accessible to everyone," commented Amy Coe. "The collaboration with Target will allow us to reach many new groups of design-savvy families."
"Our guests will appreciate Amy's inventive and sophisticated designs," said Trish Adams, senior vice president, Target Stores. "Her collection will offer guests a look previously available only in specialty stores, at affordable prices that our guests expect."
The Amy Coe Signature Collection, personally designed by Amy Coe in limited quantity, offers an exclusive collection of vintage-inspired designs and a full line of luxury linens featuring pure-cotton textiles and high-quality manufacturing. Amy Coe Signature Collection designs currently may be found in specialty stores, catalogs and department stores across the U.S.
